The EPT Prague is underway in the Czech Republic. The European Poker Tour stop in the Czech capital wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary in past years, but this festival marks the last one associated with the EPT.

With that in mind, it was time to go back through the archives of videos from PokerStars and the EPT to find some of the best moments in its 13 seasons of history. We came up with our favorite video clips, listed in no particular order:

Rob Hollink Wins Season 1 Grand Final

The inaugural season of the EPT offered seven tour stops and a grand finale in Monte Carlo. The Main Event there attracted 211 players, and Rob Hollink was the ultimate winner. He took home €635K and a special place in EPT history.

Victoria Coren Becomes First Female EPT Winner

Throughout the recent decades of poker history, Vicky Coren made a great deal of contributions to the game. One of those was her win at the EPT London stop in Season 3. She won £500K and became the first female to win an EPT title.

Another History-Making Moment for Coren

By the time Season 10 of the EPT rolled around, Vicky Coren-Mitchell was spending less time at the poker tables than in the past. With other work in progress, she played fewer tournaments than in the past but traveled to San Remo for PokerStars. There, she won the Main Event for €476,100 and made history again, becoming the first player to ever win a second EPT Main Event title.

EPT Berlin Robbed by Armed Assailants

Perhaps the most terrifying moment in EPT history was the armed robbery at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, where the Berlin stop on the tour was in full swing. The 2010 incident ended without serious injury to players but €242K stolen from the coffers.

Poorya Nazari Captures Largest Main Event Prize

The largest Main Event first place prize in all seasons of the EPT was $3 million, and it happened at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas in 2009. At the height of the poker boom, Poorya Nazari of Canada won the Main Event at the PCA for a history-making sum of money.

Ronaldo Tops EPT Celebrity Performances

Several football legends have been part of the PokerStars team roster through the years, but Ronaldo of Brazil is one of the most famous. He has become a regular at the PCA in the Bahamas, and he made quite an impression when he went deep in the 2015 Main Event there. (Last hand happens after the 44:00 mark.)

Contentious Hand between Friends

This hand happened in Season 8 at EPT Berlin, and friends Vanessa Selbst and Kevin MacPhee got involved in a hand that particularly confused and irritated Selbst. The hand has been consistently ranked among the top poker blowups, so we had to include it here.
