Popular Online Poker Forum Remains Mum

2 + 2, the popular online poker forum where players spew their thoughts and observations on everything poker, will remain silent until sometime next week as a result of a computer hacker who may have gained access to the accounts of the site’s users on April 26.

Although the rest of the website’s offerings, such as the online magazine and forum archives, remain accessible, the forum allowing players to express their views will not be available until proper security features are in place.

“We want everybody to know that we want to get it back up as soon as it can come back up,” said 2 + 2 owner Mason Malmuth. “Things are being worked on. We will bring it up when we can.”

Although it is not known how many emails or passwords may have been breached by the computer miscreant, the website advises players to change passwords, including those passwords on other sites that may be identical to 2 + 2 passwords.
