While players are anxiously awaiting the launch of poker training site IveyPoker.com, Phil Ivey continues to add to the roster of instructors and has named the third woman to his stable of stars, Christina Lindley.
Lindley has amassed over $1 million in career winnings, including a 360th place finish in the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event for $32,871. Her prowess on the virtual felt has been even more successful. A second place finish in FTOPS XIV at Full Tilt was good for $106,000 and a title in the World Championship of Online Poker at PokerStars added more than $127,000 to her $905,453 lifetime online earnings.
The 29-year old from Atlanta, Georgia has graced the pages of Muscular Development, Playboy and Maxim magazines. Her film credits include appearances in “Big Momma’s House 2” and “The Marine.” Lindley also competed as a contestant on “Fear Factor.” In announcing the addition of Lindley to the roster, IveyPoker.com says that “she has been known to use her southern sweetness and Maxim-model beauty as the perfect ruse to captivate, and ultimately defeat, her opponents.”
Upon being named the 29th pro to join Team Ivey, Lindley said, “I’m excited to start 2013 off with a bang as an IveyPoker Pro. I expect this to be a memorable year, for myself and every other amazing player on our team.”
An official launch date has yet to be announced by Ivey for his site. But the addition of the picturesque Lindley will undoubtedly attract quite a few more fans.
