Party Poker Announces Pokerfest Schedule
Party Poker has announced the tournament and qualifier schedule for the third edition of PokerFest. The tournament series will be held from April 21 to May 5 and will feature 64 no limit hold em, fixed limit hold’em, and pot limit omaha events.
Pokerfest III will have a total of $4 million in guaranteed prizes and a number of satellites for all the events. Each day will feature four tournaments increasing in buy-in from VIP points to the high stake buy-in. The series features buy-ins for all types of bankrolls, including $0.50 and $1 tournaments as well as the normal $108 buy-in events. The points-only tournaments
Party Poker PokerFest III qualifiers have already begun and will continue through the $1.5 million guaranteed main event. The tournament will also include a Daily Prize Card, which can be used to qualify for the actual events.
PokerFest was introduced in the inaugural series on October 2011 and has been a bi-annual event with the exception of Fall 2012. The tournament series used to feature unique promotions and only 47 events. The third edition expects to see improvements in tournament software as well as prize pools.
