Negreanu Selects PokerStars Pros to Face Full Tilt

Daniel Negreanu has selected Isaac Haxton and Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier as his PokerStars teammates to take on the Full Tilt Professionals of Gus Hansen, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

KidPoker consulted fans as well as fellow Team PokerStars pros in making his decision. Negreanu and Hansen are expected to duel each other laptop-to-laptop battleship style on Full Tilt Poker during the EPT in London. Hansen is allowed to choose the other matchups.

Negreanu has suggested that each player put up $50,000 and each match consist of three tables of no-limit hold’em freezeout. Individual matches are won by winning two of three tables and the championship team also must win at least two of the three matches.

The PokerStars versus Full Tilt challenge was set in motion after Hansen needled Negreanu about winning a pot of more than $575,000 with quad 5’s over KidPoker’s full house on High Stakes Poker in 2006.
