Micrograming Poker Network (MPN) revealed yesterday its live plans for 2014. The online gaming operator will organize a poker tour across Europe in an attempt to attract new players and build a stronger relationship with the current ones.
So far, the network announced three stops: London, Malta, and Tallinn (Estonia). The full schedule for the London poker festival has already been released with a wide range of online satellites ranging from just €11 to €215. The winners of the satellites will have the entire package, from hotel accommodation for four nights and an invitation to the welcome party, to spending money and entry to the £450 buy-in Main Event.
The Main Event will start on May 30, at 12:00 local time and will have a two hour late registration. The final table will run on the first day of the summer.
There will also be other tournament options for the poker players who choose to participate at the festival, including an Open Face Chinese event for just £55, a £110 Bounty tourney, a Pot Limit Omaha £165 special, and the Mosh Pit Live – a fast-structure tournament with rebuys and lots of action.
All the events will be held at the Aspers Casino.
This is not Microgaming’s first live poker experience. Back in 2004, the network sponsored the Monte Carlo Millions. “I’m looking forward to seeing the MPN running their own live event again. I still have fond memories of the Monte Carlo Millions, which produced some of the best poker I’ve ever seen. We will see an equally friendly atmosphere and even more exciting play on the MPNPT,” MPN representative Christopher Hirst said, according to SBCNews.
