The World Series of Poker announced today that GoDaddy.com has become one of the premier sponsors of the 42nd annual WSOP.
GoDaddy.com, the world’s largest Web hosting provider and domain name registrar, secured premium branding position just below the cards on the table’s felt.
“When you talk about GoDaddy.com, you are talking about some of the best marketers in the world, who are thoughtful about their platforms and selective in their promotional partnerships,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “We know GoDaddy.com has a fun and edgy style and we welcome them into the greatest poker spectacle on the planet, which shares its personality.”
GoDaddy.com is known for its ads featuring scantily clad women, one of which was reportedly banned from the 2011 SuperBowl because it was too racy. The content on the WSOP tables promises to be much more PG.
