Bonza Gaming has become the third operator to offer real money games on Facebook after reaching an agreement with the social networking site. The Sportingbet and Plumbee owned social gaming operator has partnered with Net Entertainment to offer real money gaming products on the Facebook platform.
The social gaming operator launched its debut product, Bonza Slots, on Facebook following the official signing of the contract earlier this morning. The Bonza Slots package features slot and casino games that were developed by Net Entertainment. The online gaming supplier plans to produce more games that will be launched on Facebook under the Bonza Gaming platform.
Bonza Gaming follows major gaming operators, Gamesys and 888, in offering real money products on the popular social networking site. Gamesys became the first company to launch real money games on Facebook through the popular game, Bingo and Slots Friendzy. 888 Gaming followed Gamesys with its release of Bingo Appy in December. The social gaming corporation was formed in December to take advantage of the growing real money social gaming market.
Bonza Gaming CEO Rick Brownlow told EGR Magazine: “We’ve worked closely with the Platform and Advertising teams at Facebook to maximise the value that Facebook brings to gaming operators. We believe being wedded to social platforms we can start to disrupt the gambling industry by creating a product which will appeal to both new and existing real money customers.”
The latest social gaming venture signals the rise of real money games on social media platforms. Gaming operators are preparing for rise of this market and have revealed future plans for products such as poker. With the popularity of social media and rise of online gaming, operators can only hope for the next boom in gambling.
