Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler Joins

The pro roster continues to expand at as Allen Kessler has signed on as the newest coach.

“Chainsaw” has been slicing up opponents for some 15 years and building up a resume that includes 29 WSOP cashes and more than $2.6 million in career earnings. The former marketing researcher with degrees in both marketing and management has amassed 180 live tournament cashes, 70 of which landed him at the final table. Of those 70, Kessler has collected 14 first place titles.

Kessler hails from Pennsylvania but eventually moved to Las Vegas when his poker success was outperforming his decade-long career in marketing. Known as one of the nittiest players around, Kessler adds another dimension to Team Ivey, which now boasts a roster of 31 pro players.
