Poker players in the United Kingdom are gearing up for this year’s running of the UK Poker Championships to be held at Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham from February 25-29.
One of the region’s most talked about poker festivals, UKPC 2016 features five events and £1,375,000 in guaranteed prize money. Players can choose between buy-ins of £2,200 for the High Roller (£100,000 GTD), £550 for an 8-Max (£100,000 GTD) and 8-Max Turbo (£25,000 GTD), £550 for a 6-Max (£50,000 GTD), and £1,100 for the Main Event that guarantees £1,000,000.
The Main Event begins on Thursday, February 25 with Day 1A and follows with two more starting flights on the 26th and 27th. Players can re-enter on Days 1B and 1C before those players still holding chips advance to Day 2 action on Sunday, February 28. A winner will emerge on Monday the 29th at least £200,000 richer!
Want a shot at being that winner for as little as one penny? Then click your way over to PartyPoker where satellites to the UKPC Main Event are hosted daily.
The one cent satellites run every half hour from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Each guarantees five seats to the $5.50 satellite held at 17:00 every afternoon. The top 50 players from the $5.50 event will make their way to the $22 satellites scheduled daily at 19:00.
The best 25 players from the $22 satellite will move forward to the final satellite tournament, a $109 buy-in played every night at 21:00. Five winners from the $109 can make arrangements to be in Nottingham on the 25th for exciting Dusk Till Dawn poker in the £1,000,000 GTD UKPC Main Event.
Of course, players don’t have to work their way up from the one cent satellites. Just jump in at any level that fits your budget, be it $0.01, $5,50, $22 or $109. Partypoker has a full range of satellite buy-ins designed to give all players a chance to enjoy UKPC poker.
