2012 WSOP Bracelets To Be Better Bling

The coveted gold bracelets awarded to winners of World Series of Poker (WSOP) events will receive a makeover for the 2012 season, resulting in a flashy new design created by Jason Arasheben, the famed Beverly Hills jeweler to the stars.

The WSOP website has announced the bracelet’s new design for this year’s Main Event champion, which will feature the finest quality diamonds, with each of the four suited cards displayed on the bracelet made of black diamonds and rubies. In addition to creating the bracelet for the Main Event, celebrity designer “Jason of Beverly Hills” has also been commissioned to design the bling for the other 66 WSOP tournaments this year.

“Jason grasped the heritage of WSOP bracelets, but was only interested if he could take it up several notches,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “This is a trophy that truly embodies the promise of today’s WSOP. I challenge anyone to keep a poker face when they see this bracelet in person.”

Arasheben has designed NBA championship rings for the L.A. Lakers, as well as creating ostentatious bling for pampered stars such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber and P Diddy.

The WSOP bracelets have long been used as a measuring stick for success in the poker industry. Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth currently holds the record with 11 WSOP championship bracelets.
