Ronnie Bardah Bluffed by Miss Finland

Ronnie Bardah set a record this year by cashing in his fifth consecutive WSOP Main Event. A major accomplishment that saw him navigate fields that totaled a collective 33,817 players in the last five WSOP ME’s to land in the money and earn $442,479.

Bardah’s career earnings have passed the $1 million mark, with his largest score coming at the 2010 WSOP Main Event where a 24th place finish was good for $317,161, the Hendon Mob DB reported. ‘Ro Nasty’ is a WSOP gold bracelet winner, claiming victory at the 2012 WSOP in $2,500 Six-Handed Limit Hold’em for $182,088.

Even the best players can fall victim to a bluff at times, and Ronnie is no exception. But Bardah suffered a bit of embarrassment and shock during a recent PokerStars Shark Cage event when he was outplayed by Sara Chafak, whose claim to fame was winning the title of Miss Finland in 2012 and representing her country in the Miss Universe pageant.

A Poker Title Next for Miss Finland?

Chafak showed nerves of steel in shoving all-in with #ah#2d on a board of #qs#5s#4c#4d#6h. You’re wondering what Bardah had? The pro was holding #8c#4s for a set, yet mucked his hand, believing that the former Miss Finland had him beat.

That successful bluff by the 24-year-old beauty sent Bardah to the Shark Cage, where he was forced to remain for one full round.

Players at the 2015 WSOP Main Event who will be trying to keep Bardah from cashing in six in a row may want to look at the video below to grab some tips from Miss Finland 2012. It happens to the best of ’em, Ronnie!
