On September 14, Full Tilt released a statement detailing cost-cutting efforts, including plans to axe 250 jobs in Dublin to save €12 million. At the time, the beleaguered poker site said the move was "intended to streamline the company’s operations in order to better position itself for future growth and profitability in Full Tilt Poker’s markets outside of the U.S."

According to sources close to the company, Pocket Kings, which provided software, technology and customer support services to Full Tilt, has begun laying off at least 180 employees in Dublin. Employees—both entry level and senior management—have been unable to comment due to non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
