News Bite: AGCC to Undergo Review

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) says it will review its regulatory and reporting process following the Full Tilt debacle, where the poker site continuously reported funds that were not available.

Andre Wilsenach, the commission’s executive director, said the regulatory body will look to make changes after failing to spot the $300 million seized by the Department of Justice from Full Tilt between 2007 and 2011.

“I think it’s important we learn from experiences. We will certainly review our processes in the light of this particular experience and we might introduce changes if we find that there’s things that we could do better from our side,” Wilsenach told the British Broadcasting Corporation.
