FT Faces New Class Action Suit

A new class action lawsuit has been brought against Full Tilt, this time by Zayn Jetha and Donald Whelan. Ray Bitar and Nelson Burtnick, both indicted by the DOJ on Black Friday, as well as Howard Lederer were named in the lawsuit.

In June, a similar class action lawsuit against Full Tilt was filed in the Southern District of New York under the RICO statute. Plaintiffs Steve Segal, Nick Hammer, Robin Hougdahl and Todd Terry—representing “a nation-wide class of Full Tilt account holders residing in the United States”—are seeking the return of players’ funds and subsequent damages in excess of $150 million.
