Zynga Poker Off to Slow Start

The highly anticipated launch of Zynga Poker on the Party Gaming Network has been met with some disappointment in traffic numbers. The popular social gaming brand has failed to elevate the cash game traffic for the Party Poker Network, allowing Full Tilt Poker and the iPoker network to move up in the Poker Scout rankings.

Several gaming industry members have expressed their lack of worry over the possible loss of market share to the popular Zynga brand. Most gaming experts agree that Zynga will not be able to realize major gains until it expands its business beyond the UK poker market.

Currently, Zynga has an agreement with Facebook to provide real money gaming to UK customers and plans to launch a real money gaming product in the near future. Furthermore, the social gaming company has filed for licensing in Nevada.

The social gaming giant hopes that the popular brand on Facebook would lead to a successful real money venture. Zynga Poker had millions of users on the Facebook platform and it has been very popular with poker enthusiasts on social media. However, the brand recognition has yet to start a boom for the companies’ real money gaming ventures.

Despite the slow start, Zynga Poker remains a highly marketable brand and the operator hopes to increase traffic in the future.
