Tower Gaming Shuts Down Business

Tower Gaming has announced it will be closing its online poker business today. The online poker operator has sent emails to current players and has posted a message on its website.

On the website, Tower Gaming has stated that the company has partnered with Jetbull Gaming and Cake Poker. Both online poker and casino players will be directed to one of these sites for the continuation of online gaming. Tower Gaming has also guaranteed that player’s account information, funds, bonuses, and VIP status will be maintained in Cake Poker or Jetbull Gaming. Players are able to seek instruction for this migration by logging onto the Tower Gaming website.

Tower Gaming was considered one of the flagship skins of the Ongame network and boasted a great VIP system and solid traffic. The online skin decided to move to the Revolution Gaming Network in November 2011 following popular skins like Lock and Cake Poker. Although the move signaled a slight decline, the online poker skin continued to offer great customer service and a solid product

However, the online company has been suffering through some undisclosed issues and provided a statement in regards to it.

After years of fun and excitement around the tables and more good times than we can remember, we’re stepping out of the game. It’s become apparent to us that we’re no longer able to provide you with the level and quality of customer service we’d like to offer and you deserve.

The loss of Tower Gaming signals another blow to the controversial and struggling Revolution Gaming Network. It can be speculated that the shutdown of Tower Gaming has been due to the struggling traffic numbers on the Revolution Gaming Network. Regardless, the network continues to be the primary option for United States players until the start of regulation in states such as Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey.
