Jay Tan Re-Signs With Team Bodog

Following a recent final table finish at the 2013 Aussie Millions Main Event in February, Jay Tan has renewed her sponsorship agreement with Bodog, signing a one-year extension to promote the website.

Tan finished in 7th place in the Aussie Millions, scoring a AUD$150,000 payday that boosted her career tournament earnings in live action to $252,707. The lovely Asian pro was knocked out of that event when her A-Q failed to connect versus the pocket Kings of Patrik Antonius. Tan’s resume includes cashes at the WSOP and the Asian Poker Tour.

“Jay has had a great year and is a natural in front of the camera as well as at the felts,” said Bodog President Jonas Odman. “She is an integral part of the ongoing Bodog Poker story which has seen us create the only network made in Asia with the emerging Asian player in mind. We are thrilled to have her back on board for another year and hope she can light up the WSOP in the same way she did the Aussie Millions.”

Tan promotes Bodog along with Tatjana Pasalic and was ecstatic to continue her affiliation with the site. “Becoming a sponsored player has always been a dream and to do so well in my first year was an unexpected bonus,” Tan said. “I feel very at home with Bodog and look forward to carrying on where I left off.”

The WSOP Asia Pacific tour kicks off today in Melbourne, Australia. Tan will no doubt be in attendance. But check her out at the 2013 Aussie Millions on the video below brought to you by
