Playtech has announced that the company plans to launch a mobile product for select sites on its iPoker network in the upcoming weeks.
The mobile offering will be available on both the iOS and HTML5 platforms and will be available for select dotcom and dot.fr networks. The software company also plans to offer mobile platforms for the iPoker.es and iPoker.it networks in the future, although exact plans have not been released.
Playtech has recently been making several changes to its products and business to combat the increasing competition in a growing market. Recently, iPoker introduced the idea of the anonymous tables in order to attract more recreational players. Furthermore, the network has added several sites over the past months, including Betclic, Everest, and Unibet. The recent business additions have launched iPoker traffic into second place in the Poker Scout rankings behind dominant leader, Poker Stars.
Finally, the software company has tentative plans to release a major software update called “iPoker 13.1” that will improve the basic clients as well as add features such as shootout and heads-up tournaments.
The software company has made major strides over the past few years and it has paid great dividends. The iPoker network currently ranks as the largest poker network in the world and it has made an astronomical rise in traffic rankings over the past year. The software company continues to expand into various markets and various technological platforms.
