Infiniti Poker Hosting Pre-Launch Bitcoin Bonanza

Infiniti Poker is preparing for its upcoming real-money launch by hosting a week of freeroll cash game action that will award the top five winners with a percentage of a Bitcoin.

Players throughout the world are invited to participate in the advanced beta test that will allow the upstart poker room to fully analyze its operations prior to its imminent real-money launch. Accuracy and efficiency in its financial accounting and VIP rewards program are Infiniti Poker’s goals in conducting a week of comprehensive testing.

Upon signing up for an Infiniti Poker newsletter and downloading the software, players will each get $1,000 in play-money. Those who have accumulated the most cash at the end of the week will be rewarded in real-money payouts.

The prizes will come in the form of a Bitcoin, with first place getting .4 BTC, .3 BTC for second place, with the next three finishers taking home .15 BTC, .1 BTC, and .05 BTC, respectively. A sixth prize is also available and may likely go to one of the top five winners. The player who has played the most hands during the pre-launch Bitcoin bonanza beta test week will pocket .25 BTC.

That’s a total of 1.25 Bitcoin available for the taking. The contest began on September 20 and will run through September 26, so players who would like a shot at free digital currency would be well-advised to download the software and start grinding.

Infiniti Poker is available to players worldwide, including the U.S. As is quite apparent from the pre-launch bonanza, the new poker room will join the handful of existing online poker sites that offer Bitcoin as a payment processing option.

A launch during the summer months was projected by Infiniti Poker earlier this year. But as has been the case with other sites that are preparing to enter the online poker arena, unexpected delays have pushed the rollout into the fall. That real-money launch is getting closer, however, with the current advanced beta test seen as a precursor to a soft launch very soon.
