Gala Coral Poker has announced its move to the “Top Tier” of the iPoker Network on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
The rapidly growing skin will join flagship sites such as Bet365 and Titan Poker in the higher tier and enjoy the benefits of this level. The “Top Tier” of the iPoker Network requires skins to maintain a 6,000 player base and sign an average of 850 new players per month. Given the stringent requirements, the poker sites in the “Top Tier” enjoy greater player liquidity and marketing advantages over the sites in the “Low Tier”. Although tournaments and Speed Poker are not affected by the network split, the cash game player liquidity and loyalty programs are significantly better in the “Top Tier”.
The move will also provide current and future Gala Coral players to enjoy new benefits and a better gaming experience. These features include a new loyalty scheme program that features a new “Elite” VIP level.
“The promotion to the top tier means that the combination of a great loyalty scheme and exciting monthly promotions will be available to even more players through the increased liquidity on ‘the right side’ of the network split” Poker Room Manager Ian Wylie has stated. “The move should mean more choice and a more balanced variety games for both the recreational player and the more serious poker aficionado, and is good news for all current and future poker players at Gala Casino.”
Gala Coral Poker originally moved to the iPoker network in May 2012 after its tenure in the OnGame network. Since its move to the network, the skin has rapidly developed into a popular skin with its promotions and customer service. The company hopes to grow further with the rapid development of the iPoker Network.
The largest network in the world has held the second spot in the Poker Scout traffic rankings and has added some major poker websites to its already large base of skins. These poker websites include Betfair and Betclic Everest as well as the eventual inclusion of the Ladbrokes poker brand.
The iPoker network has also introduced anonymous tables to the network and has pushed its business to cater to the recreational player base while maintaining a healthy regular player balance. The network’s parent company also plans to launch a mobile offering to take advantage of the future of online poker.
