Full Tilt Rebrands, Mucks 'Poker'

Full Tilt Poker, which has perhaps the most storied past among online poker sites due to its mismanagement and eventual acquisition by Rational Group, added a new chapter to its saga by mucking “Poker” in order to broaden its offerings to include online casino games.

The rebranding was completed last week and included a URL change that was the first step in being recognized as a site that provides more than just Internet poker.

This year our gaming portfolio on Full Tilt expanded to offer a range of single and multi-player variations of casino games,” a Full Tilt representative told eGR. “Therefore, we have now moved the domain from and to and”

Parent company Rational Group is reportedly in the process of expanding Full Tilt’s reach into new markets., and will apparently soon be accessible by players in Italy, Spain and Sweden, respectively.

Another new market being targeted is that of the U.S. Amaya Gaming‘s $4.9 billion acquisition of Rational and all of its assets will likely be finalized in September. New Jersey gaming regulators are currently scrutinizing Amaya’s suitability, with rubber-stamped approval expected that would permit PokerStars and Full Tilt to make their regulated foray into the U.S. marketplace via the Garden State.
