Full Tilt Poker has gained a notch in cash game player traffic on PokerScout’s global rankings and is now holding down 5th place.
The boost in action at PokerStars‘ sister site is likely attributable to the Easy Bonus Promotion that went into effect last week. All players who managed to earn at least one Full Tilt Point through Sept. 25 received personal Easy Bonuses of varying amounts.
All that’s required to collect the bonus is to begin playing real-money online poker at Full Tilt. Players have until the end of the day on Oct. 5 to accept their Easy Bonuses and a full 10 days to earn the points required to release the bonus cash into their accounts.
A look at player traffic averages at the top poker sites
Full Tilt now finds a seven-day average of 1,450 players on its cash tables. Thanks to the Easy Bonus promo, Full Tilt leaped over Bodog/Bovada, who is now in 6th place with 1,350 ring game players.
Full Tilt may soon be making moves on 4th place PartyPoker, who is just 50 players ahead at 1,500. The iPoker Network in third place is quite a long way off, however, averaging 2,200 players.
Holding down 2nd place worldwide is 888Poker with a seven-day average of 2,300 players. The industry leader, PokerStars, averages almost 9x as many players as its nearest competitor with a solid player pool of 20,000.
