Foxwoods and Game Account Reach Online Gambling Agreement

The Foxwoods Casino and Game Account Network have reached an agreement to jointly offer an online gaming product.

According to the deal, the Game Account Network will provide an online gaming platform for Foxwoods to launch  an online casino product as well as offer B2B and B2C online gaming services to other United States casino operators. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation casino intends to initially launch a free play product with a real money offering to follow after regulations have been put in place.

The partners also plan to offer a B2B solution for other potential online gaming operators throughout the United States. The initial software deal will allow United States online gaming operators to utilize the software for the launch of unique online sites. The Mashantucket tribe and the Game Account Network hope that this offering will allow the partnership to grab a sizable share of a potentially lucrative market.

The two companies have positioned themselves to take advantage of the new market in the United States.

Game Account entered the United States market in 2012 through an agreement with Australian Operator, Aristocrat. The joint venture launched gaming software called nLive that provided a free play online casino in Nevada, a casino site for Maryland Live, and a free play gaming site for Michigan’s Island Resort & Casino. However, the partnership dissolved after Aristocrat bought the rights to replicate the software and excluded Game Account.

The Mashantucket owned Foxwoods Casino and Resort also have a strong presence in the United States market. The famed casino is considered the largest resort and casino in North America and second only to a Macau casino in the world. It offers the largest slot machine area in the world and has one of the biggest poker rooms (soon to be renovated) in the world.
