It has been announced by Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Chilipoker, that the site will merge it’s B2C-arm with European operator Poker770, according to eGaming Review.
While Chilipoker will continue to operate a room for French customers under the partnership they have with Iliad Gaming, the rest of the player pool will migrate over to Poker770, expected to happen today.
Dreyfus explained that the move was to focus on their deal in the US and to make sure the company was “fit and proper” for entry into the American market.
“Moving forward, the priority is the regulated business in France and Bally’s iGaming business in the US although we remain on the lookout for different opportunities.”
To do this, Chiligaming has decided to separate from player markets in unregulated territories.
“We decided to say okay, let’s focus on the future for us which is our brand, our technology and our partnership with Bally in the US, and our partnership with Iliad in France,”.
Earlier, PokerUpdate reported on Chiligaming’s exclusive deal with Golden Nugget for producing a free-to-play poker site in the US.
