In July, Poker Tracker announced an exclusive deal with Cake Poker to “test the viability” of allowing HUDs on the network.
After the conclusion of the testing phase, Cake will now officially allow HUDs such as Poker Tracker and Hold`em Manager across the network.
“From November 9 we allow players to use 3rd party software that provide HUD data such as Poker Tracker and Hold`em Manager,” said Anton Zhilin, senior affiliate and project manager at AEPoker.
“Players can still change their nicknames every 7 days to combat any form of tracking if they wish.”
The move marks a significant change in policy, as Cake were previously known for its strict opposition to the use of software at the tables.
