Caesar’s Interactive Entertainment has announced the recruitment of players for the beta testing of its new online poker software. Nevada residents are able to submit an online application on the Caesar’s site and take part in a preview of the World Series of Poker online poker website.
Although an exact date has not been released, Caesar’s Entertainment has hinted that the beta version of the WSOP brand website will be launched in the near future. The online poker site will be operated within the borders of Nevada and utilize software from recently licensed operator, 888 Holdings.
Since its license approval in 2012, Caesar’s Interactive Entertainment has been developing business relationships and preparing for the launch of its WSOP site. In addition to its partnerships with 888, Caesar’s has hired marketing agency, Zambezi, to promote the new WSOP website. The company also hopes to create its own platform in the future and is utilizing its partnership with French company, Barriere, to begin development on that level.
The launch of the actual WSOP site is set for the summer or fall and will be one of the first regulated online poker sites in the United States.
