The last weekend of February offers a bunch of exciting promotions for online poker players. And with March right around the corner, a number of players likely have their eye on the Irish Poker Open set for March 21-28.

Partypoker’s 98-event Powerfest festival that features escalating buy-ins and prize pools each week continues this weekend, with Sunday being the last day that players can buy-in at the Featherweight level for as low as $5.50-$11. There are four Featherweight tournaments on Saturday, February 27 and six the following day, all but one requiring just a $5.50 buy-in.

Overlapping on Sunday is the start of Week 2 and stake levels deemed that of Middleweights with entry fees of $22-$55. The five tournaments on the schedule this weekend feature buy-ins ranging from $55-$215 and prize pools collectively totaling $110,000. Players in nearby states can also take part if they are within New Jersey borders. Those making the trip will want to arrive by 4:00 p.m. when event #1, the $7,500 GTD NLHE Slow Grind, gets underway.
