With all the hoopla surrounding the Garden State Super Series III this month, players in New Jersey may be unaware that Partypoker NJ restyled their player rewards program.

The revamp, effective October 1, was designed with an eye toward simplicity with regard to redeeming player points. Another result of the modification was to allow players who don’t play all that much to have an easier time moving up to the second tier (Silver), thereby increasing rewards for those typically classified as recreational players.

In addition, the top player tier (Palladium Elite) was done away with entirely, leaving only four classification levels of players: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Palladium. The Bronze level wasn’t changed at all, as every player is placed in that tier until reaching the Silver level.

Play Casually and Gain Rewards

Partypoker NJ made it much simpler for Bronze players to move up in class to Silver, as only 50 points a month will do the trick. Previously 250 monthly points were required. Even casual players can advance at that low requirement!

Achieving the Gold tier was made a bit more difficult, as players needed 500 points under the old program but must now attain 750 per month. Palladium was also boosted from 1,000 to 2,000 points monthly. But keep in mind that with Palladium Elite and its 10,000 player points each quarter requirement abolished, only 2,000 points a month are necessary to reach the highest player loyalty level at Partypoker NJ.

Players advancing to the top level – a mere 2K per month – gain access to the best value available with regard to cash and tourney tickets in the points store. Incidentally, that points store has been newly stocked with “cheaper and better rewards for everyone” that includes cash valued up to 20% and tournament tickets that are worth up to 30%.

No changes were made in the way that online poker players earn points at Partypoker NJ. Players accrue 2 points for each $1 paid in tournament fees, and 2 points for every $1 of rake collected in ring games.
