Autumn is upon us and that means that WSOP.com will soon be hosting the Fall Poker Festival for players within the regulated states of New Jersey and Nevada.
The festival, run separately in both states since New Jersey has yet to sign on and join the Multi State Internet Gaming Agreement as has been done in Nevada and Delaware, will kick off on Sunday, October 25. A tournament will be hosted each day for eight consecutive days through November 1.
In New Jersey, the combined prize pool guarantees for the Fall Poker Festival are slightly more than $60,000, while players in Nevada will be competing for over $80,000 in guaranteed prize money. The fests in both states will award an exclusive Champions Ring to the Main Event winners.
Eight Days a Week
The Main Event will be played on the final day of the fest, November 1, and feature a $30,000 guarantee in NJ and a $35,000 guarantee in Nevada. Both Main Events require an entry fee of $200, with re-buys and add-ons permitted.
But prior to the Main Event, the action will kick off on the 25th of this month with a $200 buy-in in a $12,000 GTD NLHE with Re-Entry event in NJ. The same event marks the start of the Fall Poker Festival in Nevada as well, however, the guarantee is set at $20,000.
Some of the six events running in-between the Kick-off and the Main Event differ in game type and guarantee between New Jersey and Nevada. But all told, WSOP.com will be offering exciting tournament poker action with fabulous guaranteed prize pools in both states.
While WSOP.com players in New Jersey will be vying for slightly less prize pools in the Fall Poker Festival than their compadres in Nevada, the East Coast players can take advantage of a promotion that’s not available out west. The “Happy Hours” promo will run nightly beginning on October 11 through the 25th.
The Happy Hours are from 6:00-10:00 p.m. and allow players to earn drawing entries for tournament tickets as high as $200! One drawing entry is received for each APP earned during the Happy Hours.
Drawings will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Oct. 12 – 26 with seven winners each drawing day. The prizes to be awarded are one $200 tournament ticket, three $10 tournament tickets, and three $1 tourney tickets. Obviously, the more APPs earned, the greater the chance of winning!
For residents and tourists of both Nevada and New Jersey, WSOP.com offers a first-time deposit bonus of 100% up to $400. For those who have yet to take advantage of that offer, now seems like a great time to do so as the bonus dollars earned could go toward the entry fees in the upcoming Fall Poker Festival!
