New Jersey online poker players of all stake levels are gearing up for the Garden State Super Series III that is now just a scant two weeks away, beginning on October 11 and running through the 25th.
That’s 15 days of action-packed poker featuring 43 events that collectively guarantee $800,000 in prize money. Buy-ins are set as low as $20 and as high as $1,060, the latter entry fee reserved for the Highroller on Oct. 25 with a $75,000 GTD prize pool. On the same day is the $215 Main Event that features $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. Both of those events allow re-entries.
The Garden State Super Series III is hosted by Partypoker NJ and BorgataPoker.com. The festival is open to New Jersey residents and visitors, requiring only that the participating players be situated within the state’s borders.
Come One, Come All
The wide variety of buy-ins for GSSS III were set with the intention that the events would be “accessible to everyone,” said Partypoker’s Director of Games, Golan Shaked.
“This is our third edition of the Garden State Super Series offering New Jersey players to play a huge range of events and grab their share of the $800,000 guaranteed prize pool,” Shaked added. “It is important to provide all types of players a fun poker experience in whichever event they play.”
Satellites to the GSSS III are running now through Oct. 25, allowing players the opportunity to enter many of the events on the cheap. Those satellites can be entered for as little as a quarter ($0.25).
Spiced With Variety
Thirty-four of the 43 scheduled events are listed as No-Limit Hold’em and include a number of variants within that game type such as 6-Max, Bounty, Turbo and Rebuy. Players who enjoy Pot Limit Omaha will find seven such events at GSSS III, also featuring a mix of variants. Stud and Fixed Limit Hold’em events are each represented one time.
The Garden State Super Series is billed as the “biggest online poker series to date in New Jersey” and permits players to compete with their minds at ease and their bankrolls safe. New Jersey remains one of only three states in the U.S. where online poker is fully regulated. Other than BorgataPoker.com and Partypoker NJ, legal sites operating in the Garden State include WSOP.com NJ and 888poker NJ.
