New Jersey will be booming with excitement next month for the Borgata Spring Poker Open that runs from April 14 through May 1 in Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

A total of 17 events are on the schedule, including the $1 million guaranteed Borgata Spring Poker Open Kick-Off and the Borgata WPT World Championship. Daily satellites are running now at allowing players to gain entry to those events for as little as $7 for the Kick-Off event and $20 for the WPT Championship.

There are steps involved in winning your way into those huge events and players can enter at any step along the way with the required buy-in. For instance, the Kick-Off tournament features a $560 buy-in, but Step 1 costs only $7 to enter with two qualifying tournaments hosted daily at 18:45 and 19:45 ET that each guarantee two seats to Step 2.

Ten percent of players (1 in 10) will move on to Step 2 tournaments held every Sunday through April 12 at 17:45 ET. Another 1 in 10 from Step 2 will advance to the live Borgata Spring Poker Open Kick-Off from April 14-18 with two seats guaranteed from each Sunday Step 2. Players who would like to skip Step 1 and enter Step 2 can do so for a $60 entry fee.

Borgata WPT Championship

There are three steps to navigate in the 2015 Borgata WPT World Championship for players who hope to enter for less than the $15,400 buy-in. Step 1 is a $20 buy-in and guarantees at least one seat to the next step, as well as 1 in 10 entries. The times of daily Step 1 qualifiers are 18:15 and 19:15 ET.

Step 2 also guarantees one seat and 1 of 10 to the next step, with Step 2 events held every Sunday at 17:15 ET through April 12. Players who choose to skip Step 1 and enter Step 2 can do so for $175.

The third and final step will be played online on April 19 at 17:15 ET with a buy-in of $1620 for Step 1 and 2 skippers. Step 3 guarantees that at least one winner (as well as 1 in 10) will be going to the $15,400 Borgata WPT Championship on April 24-29.

A Spice of Variety

There is something for everyone at the 2015 Borgata Spring Poker Open. The assortment of events includes Big Stack, Deep Stack, Deepest Stack, Re-buy, Re-entry, Seniors. Also, the WPT World Championship has gone back to a Freeze Out format.

The lowest buy-in on the schedule is $230 for the final event of the series held on May 1. Event #17 offers a $50,000 guarantee with rebuys and re-entries.
