New Jersey and Nevada online poker players who enjoy tournaments with small buy-ins would be wise to head over to WSOP.com. The Mini Festival of Poker has been running since February 1, with 10 days remaining in which to participate.

One tournament is being held each day over the course of the month. Buy-ins during the Mini Festival are all $10 or less, except for the event scheduled for February 28. The final MTT for the fest features a $20 entry fee with re-buys and add-ons, and promises a prize pool of at least $4,000.

That concluding event marks $20,000 in combined guarantees throughout February in the Mini Festival of Poker. Players may click here to find out more information about playing at WSOP.com.

Welcome Week Bonus Bonanza

The Mini Festival is not the only promotion running at WSOP.com in both New Jersey and Nevada. Another currently on offer is the Welcome Week Bonus Bonanza that allows first-time depositors to earn a bonus of 100% up to $300.

Along with the bonus cash, new depositors who put at least $10 in their account will receive seven tickets to $100 Welcome Week Freeroll tournaments held daily. But here’s an added bonus: For every $10 deposited over $70, another freeroll tournament ticket will be issued.

That means that new players are entitled to 30 $100 Welcome Week Freeroll tournament tickets instead of seven. The bonus code WELCOME must be used when making the deposit.

Second Chance

But wait, there’s more. Players who deposited less than $300 using the WELCOME bonus code are entitled to earn more freeroll tournament tickets by making another deposit within 30 days of the initial deposit.

The maximum amount of $100 Welcome Week Freeroll tournament tickets from two deposits spread over thirty days is 30. And the second deposit made requires the bonus code of “2NDCHANCE” to be used.

In other words, let’s say you make an initial deposit of $150 using the WELCOME bonus code and receive 15 freeroll tickets. You have 30 days to deposit up to $150 more using the code 2NDCHANCE to grab 15 more $100 Welcome Week Freeroll tournament tickets.

Cash Masters

The Cash Masters promotion is designed for New Jersey players in the Gold+ Loyalty Level and lower who have stumbled along the way toward fulfilling their New Years resolutions. Likewise for Nevada players in the Gold Loyalty Level and lower. WSOP.com aims to put things right by allowing you to select a goal that you can live up to and achieve.

Simply opt-in to the Cash Masters promo and select one of four table stakes at which to play. The choices are $0.10/$0.20, $0.25/$0.50, $0.50/$1 and $1/$2. The goal to reach for each of the table stakes mentioned is 80, 160, 200 and 250 APPs, respectively.

Accumulating the required number of APPs is good for one $10 tournament ticket. The three highest level stakes will also receive a WSOP.com T-Shirt for achieving the goals listed.

2015 Player of the Year

The Player of the Year race is not restricted to February, of course, but instead aims to “identify and reward the most consistent tournament player throughout the year.” Players who make a habit of finishing in the money will be awarded points based upon the prize pool and the number of entrants in each tournament.

PoY is a prestigious award and the prizes available certainly reflect that. A massive $10,000 in cash, a WSOP.com Player of the Year ring, a seat at the Poker Hall of Fame induction dinner in 2016 for you and a guest, as well as prime seating at the 2016 WSOP Main Event final table.

Separate PoY awards will be given to players in both Nevada and New Jersey. Winners will be announced on January 6, 2016. It’s not too late to start grinding the tournament tables now!
