News Bite - Everleaf Gaming Forced Out of US Market

MintedNeil”, a representative of Minted Poker, has stated in a TwoPlusTwo thread that the Everleaf Gaming Network has been forced to withdraw from the US market.

The thread discusses how one of the network’s US processors has been lost with some of the funds held by the Department of Homeland Security. The same department has now issued a letter to the network demanding they are to “decease and desist all operations in the USA, or face legal enforcement.”

The network had met with the LGA, the Maltese Gaming Authority, and had sought legal advice over the matter. Afterwards, the LGA recommended that “due to the nature of the threat and the current climate, the network needs to withdraw its services from US customers.”

He goes on to re-assure all US players that while the processing of payments is currently halted, “all monies held by ALL poker players, US and rest of world, are secure and ring-fenced”, adding that the European network will continue as normal with the exception of all accounts changing to Euro accounts.
