Lobbying Increases

The American Gaming Association, which plans to back legislation introduced this autumn, spent $642k lobbying the federal government in the second quarter. The amount is $281k more than what the AGA spent in last year’s second quarter and is $67k more than it spent during the first quarter.

The AGA was not alone. Caesars Entertainment and Chief Executive Gary Loveman spent $821k lobbying Congress during the second quarter, representing 23% of lobbying activity for internet gambling.
