More than 18 million Swiss francs (approximately $20 million) was seized by the courts of Geneva on September 26, reports La Tribune de Genève.

$20 Million Seized in Swiss Accounts

More than 18 million Swiss francs (approximately $20 million) was seized by the courts of Geneva on September 26, according to La Tribune de Genève. The accounts are in the name of those indicted on Black Friday. Dario Zanni, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation, indicated that more funds may be seized from other Swiss accounts.

In September, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York amended its April 15 complaint to include charges against Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson and Rafe Furst. On the same day, the Department of Justice issued warrants in rem to seize the bank accounts of Ferguson, Lederer, Bitar and Furst, one of which was held at Pictet & Co Bankers in Switzerland.
