Adjarabet’s recent ascent up the rankings in PokerScout’s global player traffic tallies provided a lesson in what can be accomplished by offering valuable promotions that cater to both grinders and recreational players alike.
After sitting outside and looking in at the online poker industry’s top ten for quite some time, roughly two months of solid promos saw Adjarabet reach as high as third place earlier this month. But the PokerMasters promo at the Georgia-based site that focused on completing tasks ended one week ago, and so did Adjarabet’s stay among the industry’s ten most popular poker rooms and networks.
Adjarabet has fallen to 11th place worldwide, now averaging 850 ring game players. That is 200 players behind the 1,050 of 10th place PokerStars.fr.
Based on the success of its recent promotions, and the immediate loss of traffic following their conclusion, it’s not far-fetched to assume that Adjarabet will soon announce another promo offering similar to PokerMasters that saw more than $300,000 land in player accounts. It’s also likely that other poker rooms have taken notice and will attempt to replicate Adjarabet’s success that allowed the site to rub elbows with the big boys of online poker for a spell.
