
Poker sites in New Jersey collected revenue totaling $1,957,513 in November, an increase of 2.3% over October’s total of $1,913,403.
Year-over-year, the increase amounted to 4.3%, as ipoker revenue in November 2014 was recorded at $1,877,603. New Jersey online poker is now heading in the right direction with two months of gains after bottoming out and hitting an all-time low in September of $1,771,123.

BorgataPoker and Partypoker NJ once again outdid the competing network of WSOP.com and 888Poker NJ last month, generating $1,102,595 in revenue to $854,918 for the latter pairing. And the former always manages to do so despite trailing in average cash game player traffic, which PokerScout.com currently tabulates as 180 players for WSOP/888 to 140 for Borgata/Party.
New Jersey’s poker sites began 2015 with three straight months of revenue reaching the $2 million mark. That total has not been hit in eight months, but may be reached in December if the typically bitter cold East Coast winter begins to take hold and forces more people indoors.
Online Gaming Revenue Sets Record
November was a banner month for New Jersey’s online gambling market that includes casino games and poker. Revenue reached an all-time high of $13,222,543, outpacing the previous mark of $13,165,623 set in March 2015.
The new high was a 2.8% boost over October’s total of $12,863,935. The increase year-over-year amounted to a whopping 51.3% due to only $8,738,898 in igaming revenue collected in November 2014. That total a year ago was hit with a massive jackpot payout of $1.3 million at an online slots game at Caesars.
Online casino games revenue reached a new record high for the second month in a row. New Jersey igaming minus poker took in $11,265,030 in November, besting the October total of $10,950,532. Percentage-wise, that’s a bump upward of 2.9% and marked the third month in a row that saw an increase.
