Zynga, the social gaming company known for Zynga Poker and Mafia Wars has begun its first partnership with Slingo, a New-Jersey based gambling operator which produces real-money offerings, according to eGaming Review.
The partnership has produced Zynga Slingo, which includes leaderboards, “medals of honour” and the ability to challenge Facebook friends in the future.
The game is for points only. However, Slingo does offer real-money options of their game in US land-based casinos.
Earlier, Zynga’s Chief Operating Officer John Schappert stated that the company was “very interested” in real-money gambling after filing losses of over $404 million last year.
