Gus Hansen, in Ireland for the UKIPT Galway Main Event that begins on Thursday, August 8 and is sponsored by Full Tilt, sat down with Rikard Aberg via Skype and revealed his thoughts on everything from Black Friday to the emergence of Open Face Chinese Poker.

The Full Tilt pro told Aberg of his love of competing and playing all kinds of games that include chess, golf, backgammon, racketlon, and, of course, poker. Hansen spoke of his upcoming plans, first of which is taking down the Main Event that will conclude after five days on the felt at Galway and features a buy-in of €1,100 and a guaranteed prize pool of at least €1,000,000.

The 39-year-old Dane, who was named to People magazine’s list of the 50 sexiest men almost a decade ago, drops several names of fellow pros throughout the interview, including Shaun Deeb, Jason Mercier, Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan.
