Every time you turn around, it seem another poker podcast is popping up. Daniel Negreanu recently joined the fray by launching his own podcast. With the sheer number of poker podcasts out there, there’s simply not enough time in the week to listen to them all.
Today we present you a list of the top 5 poker podcasts you should be listening to. We will note that we only included podcasts that broadcast on a regular basis, so shows like The Poker Edge will be left off the list. Also, we’ve also excluded video podcasts and stuck with those you can listen to on iTunes or download onto your PC.
With over 400 episodes, the PokerNews Podcast is perhaps one of the most well-know poker podcasts in the industry. The PokerNews crew regularly gives fans everything they want to know about poker, the poker industry and those that play the game,
The podcast is often recorded on location at some of the largest events in poker, giving listeners special “insider access” you don’t get on other podcasts. Over the years, the podcast has been expertly ran by popular personalities that include Remko Rinkema, Donnie Peters, Sarah Herring, Rich Ryan and the recently returning Matthew Parvis.
Bernard Lee Poker Show
Bernard Lee turned a 13th place finish in the 2005 WSOP Main Event into a media career that spawned the awesome Bernard Lee Poker Show. Lee is well-connected in the poker world and is able to secure world-class guests on his podcast on a regular basis.
In addition, he gives his perspective on all of the relevant poker news of the week. He also regularly discusses strategy on his podcast so listeners will not only be entertained, but they may also improve their poker game.

While it is true that Negreanu has only produced one episode of his podcast, we already believe that it is one that will resonate with players for years to come. Negreanu is planning to focus on the business side of pro poker and plans to regularly interview the men and women behind the scenes in the poker industry.

If you have never heard of the Ante Up PokerCast, then your podcast game is weak. This podcast has been running for 11 years. That’s longer than I’ve been in live poker! Hosts Chris Cosneza and Scott Long have been doing episodes weekly since June 2005.
The hosts love to have a good time in their podcast and they cover a myriad of poker topics from news to tournament coverage and beyond. Segments such as Listener Spotlight and Hand of the Week gives this a unique spin that has helped it last longer than most poker careers.
TwoPlusTwo Forums is the “go to” online forum source for news, strategy and poker gossip. As such, it is no surprise that their podcast is on this list. Adam Schwartz and Terrence Chan cover all the latest news and gossip from the poker world.
They regularly interview some of the biggest and brightest stars of the poker world. There’s also a good amount of strategy discussed on the podcast, so this is another podcast that can help elevate your game.
